APPLETON — The Kentucky Fried Chicken at 111 E. Wisconsin Ave., in Appleton is permanently shuttered, a KFC spokesperson confirmed Tuesday.
“One of our franchisees closed this restaurant in December 2023 as a normal course of business,” the spokesperson said in an email to The Post-Crescent. “Employees were offered relocation to other KFCs in the area.”
“While this is always a difficult decision, we appreciate the patronage of our loyal guests,” the spokesperson added. “We look forward to continue serving our customers at the other KFCs located in the area.”
The company’s eateries in Fox Crossing and Neenah still appeared to be open, as of Wednesday morning.
