A now-former South Carolina law enforcement officer faces charges after he used excessive force during two arrests, according to warrants released Tuesday. Renée Wunderlich, with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), said Brantley Keith Creel, 35, of Abbeville, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with two counts of misconduct in office, first-degree assault and battery and second-degree assault and battery.
