Kentucky health departments react to potential ‘loosening’ of COVID isolation protocol

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – Just ahead of the four-year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CDC is considering loosening isolation requirements for people who test positive. If you had tested positive four years ago, you would have faced weeks of complete isolation. In late 2021, the CDC released requirements saying anyone testing positive should isolate for five days and mask.
