BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A delivery driver pleaded guilty to fatally striking a pedestrian and leaving the scene in November near Highmark Stadium during a Buffalo Bills game, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Khairullah I. Hasein, 33, of Buffalo pleaded guilty on Feb. 6 to one count of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting resulting in death.

On Nov. 13, members of the Orchard Park police and the Erie County Sheriff’s Office responded at approximately 8:19 p.m. to the scene of Southwestern Boulevard, near Stadium Drive, for an injured pedestrian . The pedestrian, identified as 65-year-old William J. Young of Rochester, was transported to ECMC where he later died from his injuries, according to authorities.
Hasein, authorities said, while working as a delivery driver at the time of the incident, hit Young with his vehicle and fled the scene without reporting it to police. His vehicle was later found with front-end damage on Mills Street in the City of Buffalo, according to authorities.
