Record highs in Southcentral Alaska with more winter weather in Western Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The calendar may say February, but the icy parking lots, slushy roads, and warm conditions scream spring!. The Anchorage Bowl woke up this morning with temperatures pushing 50 degrees in some spots, with the airport already seeing the thermometer climb to 43 degrees. This ties the previous record of 43 set back in 1977 for Alaska’s largest city.
