TROY, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A vehicle has crashed into the Troy City Hall building in downtown Troy.
According to Troy Police Chief Shawn McKinney, police were called to the 100 block of S. Main Street in Troy. When police arrived at the scene, they found a driver had ran into the front of the building.
McKinney tells 2 NEWS the driver involved in the single-vehicle crash is believed to have attempted to back up, but stepped on the gas pedal by mistake.
Suspect arrested following shooting on I-75
Troy Police say the driver was not injured, but will likely receive a citiation.
The police chief does not believe the damage was enough to cause any interruptions with business inside of the building.
