Fat Tuesday in Mobile recap: crowd size, complaints and arrests

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The numbers are in, and it’s no secret that a lot of people made their way to downtown Mobile for the Fat Tuesday parades!

Mobile police estimate more than 204,000 packed the streets.

UPDATE: Daphne shooting suspect turns himself in

MPD responded to 32 complaints, issued 66 parking citations and towed 31 vehicles. Mobile police did not issue the number of people arrested.

However, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office arrested nine people throughout the Carnival Season on charges such as public intoxication, disorderly conduct and public lewdness.
