PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — The man who died in a crash involving an alleged drunk driver early Saturday morning was identified by Portland police on Wednesday.
Officials say that 23-year-old Wael M. Zahran died in the crash that took place in downtown Portland, which left three others injured.

Investigators said the driver of a Volkswagen Jetta, later identified as Jacob M. Tabor, hit one car on SW Naito Parkway in a minor collision. But Tabor kept going and slammed into a Toyota Camry that was stopped at a red light on Naito and Columbia.
Tabor, 46, was then booked into the Multnomah County Jail for DUII and two counts of assault. Authorities said he will likely face additional charges related to Zahran’s death.
