One man is dead after a shooting at a Wingstop in Hampton Wednesday night, according to police.
Around 8:15p.m., officers responded to the 1st block of Coliseum Crossing after getting a call about the shooting, according to a Hampton PD post on the social media platform X.
Police have now identified the man who died as 29-year-old Travell Lavar Giles, of Newport News.
The suspect fled before police got there, according to officers at the scene.

Police say that callers can remain anonymous and never appear in court and if a tip leads to an arrest, the caller may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1500.
