High pressure keeps it clear and sunny

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Anchorage saw a high temperature on Wednesday reach 44 degrees, setting a new record daily high for this date, Feb. 14. The previous record was 43 degrees in 1977. Wednesday was also the sixth day in a row that the state’s largest city saw temperatures above freezing and the fourth time this month that temperatures were in the 40s.
