Allegiant launches new seasonal flight from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A new seasonal flight from Allegiant is now available from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE).

Allegiant announced flights from PIE to Kansas City International Airport (MCI) start Thursday.

The airline will operate the flights up to twice weekly.

The flight is part of Allegiant’s season expansion in 23 cities across the country.

“Anticipating a surge in spring and summer travel demand, we are excited to bring back these perfectly-timed seasonal routes to fly passengers to some of our network’s most popular destinations across the country,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant chief revenue officer. “Allegiant’s affordable, all-nonstop flights allow customers to spend more time in their destination without the hassle of managing layovers or connections.”

Earlier this week, the airline announced two new nonstop routes from PIE. Starting in June, Travelers can fly from PIE to Evansville, Indiana and McAllen, Texas.
