LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln woman lost nearly $67,000 in a fraud scheme involving a gold bar, police say. Officers received a report of the fraud scheme on Monday. Last month, a 76-year-old woman received phone calls and letters from people claiming to be from the Federal Trade Commission.
