ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A woman has been arrested and charged after bringing a firearm on school property at Murray Elementary School, according to the Albemarle County Police Department.
At 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, officers with the department were dispatched to the school for the report of a possible weapon on school property.
Upon investigating, officers found that a firearm was left unattended inside a vehicle on the school’s property.
Police then arrested and charged 36-year-old Tiffany N. Hicks with bringing a firearm on school property.
No one was injured during this incident, according to police. Hicks was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
