FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – There were bruises all over the woman’s face, neck and ear and blood came from her mouth whenever she began to speak.
She didn’t know it at the time, but the woman’s jaw had been broken in two places and she somehow suffered fractures to her nasal bone. Here eyes were swollen shut. There were marks on her right breast that looked like someone had bitten her over and over again.
The last thing she remembered, the woman told a Fort Wayne police detective early Saturday morning in newly released Allen Superior Court documents, was a man choking her and then striking her in the face repeatedly.
All apparently because she knew people involved in a recent homicide investigation .
The man accused of the beating, identified as 30-year-old Kyle Leonard Williams, is now facing preliminary charges of aggravated battery and strangulation which could put him behind bars for anywhere between 3 and 18 1/2 years.
