So when White Chocolate coached a group of prep stars in a high school all-star game in Atlanta, he didn’t realize that he had the best player in the nation on his team.

“I was coaching a high-school All-Star game in Atlanta when he was still in high school, his senior year,” said Williams during his recent appearance on The OGs Show. “And I don’t know none of these kids man. These young kids, I don’t know. I’m just coaching, like, jump ball, Ant’s on the bench. I don’t know who Ant is.”

The No. 1 player in the country

Edwards starred at Holy Spirit Preparatory School, where he won the Class AAA State Championship in 2018, which led to a runner-up finish as a senior. Ant-Man averaged 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists during his senior year and earned USA Today All-USA First Team honors.

He also played in the McDonald’s All-American game and the Jordan Brand Classic in 2019. Edwards was the No.1 shooting guard in the 2019 class and a Top 5, five-star recruit. So basically, every college scout knew who Anthony Edwards was. But not White Chocolate.
