BREAKING: Man shot several times, dropped off at a Mobile McDonald’s

(UPDATE 5:46 p.m.): News 5 has learned more about an incident that resulted in a man left for dead at a local McDonald’s.

The Mobile Police Department said at approximately 4:05 p.m., officers responded to a McDonald’s parking lot at 281 Schillinger Road.

There, they found a man with gunshot wounds, and News 5 has confirmed that the man died from his life-threatening injuries.

This case is a confirmed homicide, and officials would not disclose if the man died at the McDonald’s or at a hospital.

The Prichard Police Department said a suspect’s vehicle was found in their jurisdiction on Whistler Street and North Leeds Avenue.

Officers have detained someone in connection with this incident, but that’s all Mobile police have shared.
