A woman took a knife to the face after she complained about her friend’s dirty home that contained dog feces and dead mice, according to police in Nebraska .
Lincoln police officers wrote in a probable cause arrest affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime that 911 dispatchers received a call shortly after midnight Sunday, but they couldn’t hear what the woman was saying because of children crying in the background. Eventually, the caller said her cousin, 24-year-old Tatiana Iniguez, stabbed their friend after an argument.
The victim told officers she went to Iniguez’s home and “made a comment about the untidiness,” especially because two kids, ages 2 and 4, live there. At some point, Iniguez began attacking her cousin and started choking her, the affidavit said. The victim tried to break up the fight because she feared Iniguez might kill her cousin, the affidavit said. She also said she feared for the safety of her children, ages 1 and 5.
