Man sought for stealing cash from Nashville hotels

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Metro Nashville Police Department is searching for a man who stole cash from at least three hotels on Jan. 25.

Police said the suspect arrived at the hotels in a blue 2024 Kia Forte and called the front desk claiming he left something in a room.

Once the hotel staff member left the desk, the suspect reportedly went into the hotel and reached behind the counter to grab cash from the register or drawer, according to investigators.

Police said all thefts happened in the Donelson area on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 25. Two Fairfield Inns and a Residence Inn by Marriott were hit.
