NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — A man and woman were arrested after they allegedly assaulted and held a man against his will for days in Algiers Point.
The New Orleans Police Department reported police worked the incident around 1:32 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 in the 700 block of Teche Street.

According to the NOPD, 21-year-old Lera Reynolds and 35-year-old Donald Palmer were arrested at the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital.
The NOPD classified the crime as an aggravated kidnapping.
