RPD: House hit by gunfire during possible shootout

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A home with four adults and a teenager inside was hit by gunfire during a potential shootout in Rochester Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to Myrtle Street at Laurel Avenue around 3:00 p.m. for reports of people shooting at each other. Investigators said the first officers to the scene didn’t see any suspects, but did find evidence of gunfire.

According to the Rochester Police Department, a home was hit in the apparent shooting. A 15-year-old was inside at the time, along with four adults ages 28 to 61. No one was injured.
