Hollywood, Calif. – On January 19, 2024 Aaron Smith-Levin, a popular Former Scientologist and Scientology Critic flew from Florida to Los Angles to join protestors outside the Church of Scientology Information Center on Hollywood Blvd. After 24 minutes of protesting, Smith-Levin was attacked he says, and when he called LAPD for help, he was ultimately arrested for stalking. The Officer who orchestrated the entire arrest would later be identified as Tim Talman, who has been featured in Scientology Periodicals and LAPD Social Media touting his Scientology ties.

After Smith-Levin had given his statement to at least two other officers and several others showing the officers un-edited videos of the incident during an hour-long investigation outside the TCL Chinese Theatre. Officer Tim Talman and Officer Murad would arrive and apparently take over the investigation. “We’re going to try to facilitate a peaceful resolution of this situation if that’s possible.” states Officer Talman before Smith-Levin assures Talman, “No I want him arrested.” Officer Talman then tells Smith-Levin, “All right then just so you know more than likely, you will be arrested for the felony stalking.” 15 minutes later, Smith-Levin was surrounded and arrested.
