There will be a warm-up this afternoon which will greatly improve road conditions. The quick three to six hour burst of snow, sleet and brief freezing rain is moving through Lower Michigan now. The easiest way to stay safe today is wait until temperatures warm well above freezing and melt any snow and ice on roads.
