According to a press release from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, Jack D. Loos, 45, of Harrisonville, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dillon Ninneman, 23, of Collins, was also arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

According to the probable cause statement, on Feb. 6, at 10:41 p.m., deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a Ford Ranger pickup truck that did not have a license plate light activated on westbound Highway 82 near Osceola.

The vehicle refused to yield and accelerated away from the deputy. After a short pursuit, deputies used a Stinger spike strip to bring the vehicle to a stop. The operator of the vehicle, later identified as Loos, fled on foot, running up the road, to an address on SE-850 road, where he was shortly apprehended thereafter.
