According to Forbes Magazine, three billionaires on the Forbes 400 consider New Jersey home, none wealthier than Rocco Commisso. His net worth exceeds $8 billion, making him the 114th richest person in the country.

After graduating high school, he graduated from Columbia University with an Industrial engineering degree in 1971. A few years later, he returned to Columbia University and earned his MBA in 1975.
