STORM WATCH: Stray rain or snow showers tonight; tracking Saturday snow

A fast-moving system dips into the area later tonight. A few nuisance rain or snow showers may slide through. New Jersey won’t see any accumulations – not even a coating is expected. This weather maker doesn’t bring much moisture, but it will bring in a reinforcing shot of chillier air.

While we are keeping tabs on the “clipper” for tonight, there is a better opportunity for snow Friday night into Saturday morning. We will likely wake up with a fresh coating-to an inch or two of snow. This isn’t going to be a significant storm, but coming home late on Friday night, you might see some snow showers making the roads slippery.
