2025 4-Star Safety Keon Young Names Top 10 Schools

Four-star safety Keon Young named his top 10 schools on Thursday. The 6-foot, 170-pound safety is from Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida. He decommitted from USF on Aug. 26.

Young’s top schools are Auburn, Florida, Missouri, Kentucky, Oregon, Michigan State, USF, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and West Virginia.

Young is the No. 220 overall prospect and No. 17 safety in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 7 safety and No. 31 player in Florida, according to the On3 industry rankings .

He earned All-County honors last season after totaling 45 tackles, nine tackles for loss, six interceptions, and 12 pass breakups. As a sophomore at Auburndale, Young recorded 41 total tackles, four sacks, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
