JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) – The Charleston County Coroner’s Office identified the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle in Johns Island Tuesday evening. Annette E. Nelson, 59, of Johns Island, was struck at the intersection of Maybank Highway and Main Road. She died on the scene from blunt force injuries at approximately 7:53 p.m., according to the coroner’s office.
