It was just just after six a.m., the morning after Super Bowl Sunday. Rio Rancho Police Department officers caught up with a pickup that was weaving along Westisde toward 528 at speeds up to 75 miles per hour. They pulled a man from the driver’s seat and started asking questions. It turned out, that man was BCSO Deputy Daniel Vasquez-Moreno who was surely familiar with what came next.
Officer: “Okay, Daniel, I’m going to read you something important, okay? You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.”
