COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A man is in critical condition on Friday after he was hit by a car while riding on a scooter in the Italian Village.
Authorities responded to the intersection of E. 5th Ave. and N. 4th St. at about 12:50 a.m. on Friday, according to the Columbus Division of Police. The victim was transported to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and remains in the intensive care unit.
The car involved in the incident remained on the scene as authorities investigated, police said. The intersection had been blocked off but has since reopened.
