PELL CITY, Ala. (WBRC) – Pell City Police Chief Clay Morris says he was looking forward to this day to help Rebekah Poe’s Family have a little bit of closure in this case. In November 2022, officers say the Poe family confronted two people breaking into their cars at their home on Skyline Trail. Officers say that’s when Rebekah Poe was run over by the suspects and later died of her injuries.
