ORLANDO, FL (WCIV) – News 4 has obtained body camera footage of Alex Murdaugh’s arrest outside of a drug rehabilitation facility in 2021. That September, Murdaugh checked himself into a Florida rehabilitation facility after the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged him with orchestrating a failed assisted suicide plot. While leaving the facility in October, Murdaugh was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) on two felony warrants connected to the missing life insurance settlement money from his late former housekeeper, Gloria Satterfield.
