Officials accuse 7 Las Vegas valley schools of failing to provide emergency plans

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – State leaders have called out seven Las Vegas valley schools after they say the institutions were found not to have emergency safety plans. Developing an emergency plan is a way schools prepare for dangerous situations. Those plans offer outlines for responses to fights, school shootings, and bomb threats. However, 11 private and charter schools in Nevada are out of compliance, officials say, not having submitted plans for those scenarios.
