Credit Suisse Has Canceled a 1,200 Job Agreement With NC

According to a new report by Axios, Credit Suisse just recently canceled a 1,200-job agreement with NC.

According to the report, the bank, one of the largest employers in Raleigh, decided “less than a year after it was forced to sell itself to rival UBS to avoid insolvency.”.

Although the company will not be adding more jobs to the area, the company said they will not be leaving it. Credit Suisse has approximately 1,700 employees and has created nearly 800 jobs since 2017.

However, before being acquired by UBS the company had around 2,300 jobs – meaning that many of those jobs disappeared.
