NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The teen at the center of one of Nashville’s most high profile cold cases would now be 34 years old.
February 14 marks the day Tabitha Tuders was born, a day that brings a flood of emotions to her family.
“We are just hoping she comes back home,” Tabitha’s father Bo Tuders told News 2.

It’s a hope that’s never faded. Although tattered, a sign still hangs outside their home on Lillian Street in East Nashville. It’s the same home the teen left in 2003 as she headed for the school bus stop. Witnesses reported that Tabitha was last seen just a couple of blocks away on Boscobel Street.
“I woke Tabitha up, told her I loved her and I’d see her this evening. She said, ‘Okay daddy, I love you,’” Bo recounted.
Tabitha never returned. With their quaint home becoming the center of national attention, the search was on for Tabitha.
“It’s mind boggling,” Bo said.
The family was initially flooded by tips that turned up empty.
