ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – Police have confiscated a stash of firearms, including one “ghost gun” and a pair of stolen pistols from a Asheville juvenile.
According to the Asheville Police Department, investigators and state law enforcement officials recently finalized an investigation into a juvenile involved in the illegal sale of guns.
The investigation led police to a home on Atkinson Street where they believed several guns were being stored. A search warrant found a ghost gun, two stolen pistols, a fourth pistol, fentanyl, and a wanted parole absconder.
The juvenile was released to their parents after the warrant was executed, and detectives are working with the state Department of Juvenile Justice to file petitions.
The probation absconder, identified as Dominique Maurice Aldridge-Brown, was charged with parole violation, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm.
