The wait is over – chef-restaurateur Meherwan Irani is finally spilling the tea on what he admits is the worst-kept secret in Asheville: His flagship restaurant Chai Pani (22 Battery Park Avenue) is moving from the heart of downtown Asheville to the center of South Slope, in the building that most recently housed Buxton Hall Barbecue (32 Banks Avenue).
