COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Starting the day off with more clouds and mild temperatures this Friday. Most everybody will drop into the 40s by sunrise.
Throughout the day clouds will continue to increase and likely go overcast at some point this afternoon as a weak and fast moving front arrives overnight.
Early morning showers will likely be before sunrise Saturday morning with temperatures starting off warm and progressively becoming cooler throughout the day as the cold front passes through. Winds gradually kick up out of the north as well making for a very chilly day.
Some improvement heading into the second half of the weekend with the return of sunny skies, but staying below average and a tad chilly.
Next week, temperatures rebound quickly into the 60s with 70s possible by early as Wednesday.
