A Utah police detective has filed a lawsuit against Blackhawk, a holster manufacturer, alleging that their product caused her to sustain injuries during a training exercise. According to the complaint filed on Feb. 6 in the Second District Court in Davis County, Lacy Turner, who works for the Kaysville Police Department, claims that while using a Blackhawk Serpa holster with her duty pistol, the weapon discharged, injuring her right leg.
