SALT LAKE CITY – A Utah Republican lawmaker is no longer pushing to require public schools to display a copy of the Ten Commandments. Instead, Rep. Michael Petersen, R-North Logan, wants to add the Ten Commandments and the Magna Carta to a list of materials “that school curricula and activities may include for a thorough study.”
