The Boulder City Council signaled Thursday evening it will not consider a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. Mayor Aaron Brockett called for a “nod of five,” as an informal way to assess whether a majority of council members wanted to move forward with exploring a resolution after hearing about 40 minutes of public comment about the matter. Only two, Councilmembers Taishya Adams and Lauren Folkerts, nodded their heads.
