KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Thieves are taking advantage of an ignition issue of Kia and Hyundai brand vehicles, exposed online through social media. Criminals are breaking windows on these cars and then breaking the steering column to access the ignition and then start the car without a key, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
