A popular chain known for its burgers and frozen custard has opened a new restaurant in Fairfield.
Are you a fan of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to know that the restaurant chain has opened a new location in Fairfield, according to this post from the city of Fairfield’s official social media account. Customers can find the new restaurant at 601 Meijer Dr (right by the Meijer store at 6325 S Gilmore Rd).
Freddy’s menu, of course, includes their burgers made with steak-burger patties. Check out Freddy’s Original Double, which comes on a toasted bun with two patties, cheese, mustard, onion, and pickles. The restaurant also offers a California style double burger (which comes with two patties, cheese, a whole slice of onion, Thousand Island dressing, lettuce, and tomato) and jalapeno pepper jack double burger. In addition, the chain has a patty melt with two beef patties, Swiss cheese, and grilled onions.
Aside from burgers, the menu includes other items such as spicy crispy chicken sandwiches, crispy chicken club sandwiches (which are topped with Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo; the chain also offers a grilled chicken club sandwich), chicken tenders, all-beef hot dogs, and chili cheese dogs.
