Albuquerque man facing rape charge rearrested, accused of missing court dates

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office says an accused rapist has been arrested after he ran off before his trial. Special agents with the DA’s Office arrested Saul Orozco on Thursday.

Albuquerque woman sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection to 2022 murder

An arrest warrant was issued for Orozco after the DA’s Office said he failed to appear for his trial in December. They say he also failed to appear on the rescheduled date earlier this month. He is now being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center.
