ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police have arrested Carlos Morris for the 2020 murder of Teryn Kurtz at an apartment in southeast Albuquerque. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers encountered Morris when they responded to the scene of the shooting in June 2020. Police say Morris was covered in blood as he tried to place Kurtz’s deceased body in the passenger side of a car. They also reported there was a bottle of Clorox bleach behind Morris and after he was handcuffed, officers located a handgun in his front pocket.
