BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society is offering a special adoption rate of $14 for all their animals through Saturday, Feb. 17.

With the special offer, the shelter hopes to encourage more people to “open their hearts and homes to a deserving pet, creating lasting bonds of love and companionship.”
GBHS currently has a rabbit, a guinea pig and several dogs and cats awaiting adoption.
