CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A man has been arrested after allegedly raping a woman at a southeast Charlotte apartment last month, authorities said. Julio Gomez-Avila, 34, is accused of breaking into an apartment off East W.T. Harris Boulevard on Jan. 12 and sexually assaulting a woman, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
