Suspect who fled into cookie shop previously released on bond, despite being wanted in Georgia

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A known suspect to police ran into Insomnia Cookies near the UofL campus Thursday while fleeing officers and petrifying the employee. Police confronted Warren Freeman at gunpoint after noticing he was armed and reaching for his waistband, the report says. Freemen later complied and placed his weapon on a cookie shelf, the report said.
