TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man living in the Panhandle is now a multimillionaire after winning one of the biggest prizes from the Florida Lottery.
Friday, the Lottery said Bernard Waters, 63, of Milton claimed a $5 million top prize from the $20 Monopoly Doubler Scratch-off game.
Waters got the winning ticket from the S Food Mart Three at 6025 Stewart Street in Milton, which got a $10,000 bonus commission for selling it.
The Panhandle resident chose to take his prize home as a one-time payment of $3,994,698.
According to the Lottery, the $20 Monopoly Doubler game has one remaining top prize of $5 million left.
