“We know that Israel is still at war; they’re fighting for their freedom and they’re defending their homeland from terrorists around the world,” Pastor Shawn York said.

The visit is part of a solidarity tour, learning how the country is dealing with the aftermath of the Oct. 7 attacks.

“We’re going to be meeting with military analysts; we’re going to receive security briefings as we tour the Lebanon and Syrian borders,” York said. “We’re going to be down in the southern part of Israel near Gaza where the terrorist attacks happened serving the families, meeting with victims and standing in solidarity with the Jewish people.”
