Kentucky House passes bill to allow for DO degree at EKU

The Kentucky House of Representatives passed two separate bills on Thurs., Feb. 15., aimed at decreasing the shortage of healthcare and veterinary professionals in the state. HB 407, if passed by the Senate, will allow Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) to offer degrees in osteopathic medicine. HB 400 also passed, allowing Murray State University to develop a veterinarian medicine program.
